The Buena Park Community Resource Center will soon be ceasing operations. Our community will now be serviced by the Friendly Center.
Resource Center
Life is full of ups and downs, which is why the non-profit Buena Park Collaborative opened the Community Resource Center (CRC) in January of 2019. In its first year alone, nearly 200 individuals sought the CRC’s support to help them meet essential health and safety needs. If you need resources or referrals for yourself or family, the CRC staff and volunteers are ready to help.
Support is available for food, shelter, case managers, financial assistance, senior services, veterans’ services, training and employment services, legal help, and medical assistance. At our friendly walk-in center, CRC provides Information and Referral Services and Case Coordination through our four-step process:
- LISTEN – to understand how we can help
- GATHER – vital information
- IDENTIFY – helpful resources across Orange County and beyond
- DEVELOP – a supportive step-by-step plan to fulfill your/your family’s needs
